INTRODUCTION TO DESIGN
FNBE
ASSIGNMENT ONE
ART.DENTITY
Identity is the way we perceive and express ourselves. Factors and conditions that an individual is born with- such as ethnic heritage, sex, or one's body- often play a role in defining one's identity. However, many aspects of a person's identity change throughout his or her life. People's experiences can alter how they see themselves or are perceived by others. Conversely, their identities also influence the decisions they make: Individuals choose their friends, adopt certain fashions, and align themselves with political beliefs based on their identities.
DESIGN PROCESS JOURNAL
Understand your Lego Miniature Toy Character (INVESTIGATION AND EXPLORATION)
- Students are required to do a thorough research on their Lego miniature toy character and tabulate all the important information in a mind map, tables and simplified diagrams. To conclude their findings students are required to create artworks base on Assignment 1 task.

DPJ 01
Key Words and Ideas Generating (TRANSFORMATION AND EXPLORATION)
- From the research in DPJ 01, students are required to research, brainstorm and set out ideas and reason for the tower display. Find out the reason for having the tower, what are/is the function(s), the perfect location, the “narrative” and inspirations for the tower design. Students are required to tabulate these ideas on paper clearly and come up with 2 best options and create a photo montage of both opinions. Each opinion must have an elaboration and explanation page.
